Dr. Curry is the Chief Executive Officer of CEP America, responsible for implementing the strategic direction and vision for the company. Dr. Curry joined CEP America in 1982 and was elected to the Board of Directors in 1992. Since becoming CEO in 2000, Dr. Curry has overseen the growth of CEP America from 35 practice locations to the more than 100 that exist today. He has been a visionary for the organization, embracing information technology as a management tool and envisioning the multi-state, multi-specialty Partnership that exists today. Through his tireless work, CEP America has evolved from a regional emergency medicine group to a national physician group dedicated to caring for patients across the acute care continuum. In addition to his role as CEO, Dr. Curry works as a staff physician at the Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center emergency department in Pomona, CA, where he has practiced since 1980. He is a member of the California Medical Association and the California Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians, where he served as president from 1989 to 1990. Originally from Dallas, Dr. Curry received his undergraduate degree from Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA. He received his medical degree from Harvard University Medical School in Boston, MA, and completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of California San Francisco Hospital and Medical Center.
