Saint Alphonsus Medical Center is a full-service hospital that provides close-to-home care for the fast-growing community of Nampa, Idaho. In addition to the general ED, the department is home to a dedicated senior ED, where a multidisciplinary team addresses the unique needs of older patients. The department also operates a freestanding ED (FSED) located about 5 miles northwest of the hospital. Both facilities participate in the Saint Alphonsus Telestroke Network, a program that delivers neurology consults to rural EDs via video conferencing.
